Election Gun Ban Violator Arrested

MIDSALIP, Zamboanga del Sur (April 3, 2019)  – Police operatives of Midsalip Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation against wanted person at Purok 1, Barangay Guinabot, Midsalip Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 AM of April 1, 2019.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of wanted person. Police Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested person as Marlo Manzanades Balido, legal age, male, single, and a resident of above-mentioned place.

The accuse was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of unlawful possession of firearm, docketed under Criminal Case # 17-10, 1410, and Violation Of Omnibus Election Code (gun ban) docketed under Criminal Case # 17-10, 1409, issued by judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora Zamboanga Del Sur with bail bond recommended to One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100, 000.00) and Forty Thousand Pesos (P40, 000.00).

Arrested accused is now detained under the temporary custody of Midsalip MPS for proper disposition.
